    The Gosset style at its very best. Thanks to a unique vinification method, our wines can undergo long maturation in the depths of our cellars while retaining exceptional freshness and a
    full aromatic expression. This Champagne goes beyond the boundaries already attained by the previous Comptes d'Âges cuvées.

    Tasting Notes:
    Golden hue, characteristic of the wine's maturity.

    Aromas of dried fruit: apricots and candied pineapple, followed, after a few minutes, by aromas of chestnut honey and crème de marrons (chestnut spread).

    The palate opens with a rich expression of plums and other yellow fruits and a blend of candied citrus fruit. 

    The mid-palate shows nice structure and density with notes of light tobacco. This "ennobled by time" quality is balanced on the finish by a surprising mineral freshness and just a hint of
    salinity, characteristic of the Gosset style.

    Fine dining and exceptional tasting occasions.

    The majority of the blend is made up of Chardonnay, which creates finesse and elegance, while the Pinot Noirs add fruitiness and structure. Bottled at the end of the spring following the harvest. The dosage is carefully selected to preserve the balance between freshness, fruit and vinosity without masking the wine's character and purity.

    Architecture: 57% Chardonnay, 43% Pinot Noir
    Cellaring: June 2001

    Disgorgement: after disgorgement, the bottles are returned to the cellars to rest for at least 6 months to allow the wine to smoothly assimilate the dosage Villages: Ambonnay, Avenay-Val-d'Or, Avize, Aÿ, Bouzy, Chigny-les-Roses, Cramant, Cuis, Trépail, Vertus, Verzenay, Villers-Marmery
